Old LDS Young Women's Award pin. Up until 1959, the classes in the YWMIA organization were the Beehives, Mia Maids, Junior Gleaners, and Gleaners. In the 50s, the Award for Mia Maids was the "Mia Joy" rose pin.
Requirements included church attendance, keeping the Word of Wisdom, giving a spiritual talk, scripture memorization, service, etc. A requirement to achieve a rose pin in the Mia Joy program even included planting a rose. Appears to be used and old. See pictures for condition. Great addition The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints !
